Q: What sizes do you offer?

A: We offer different sizes, its best to check size chart for the particular product. Some of the standard sizes we offer in chewproof dog bed and orthopedic dog bed are:

  • Small — 24"×18" — Dogs up to 8 kg
  • Medium — 30"×26" — Dogs 8-15 kg
  • Large — 36"×26" — Dogs 15-25 kg
  • X-Large — 42"×36" — Dogs 25-40 kg
  • XX-Large — 50"×36" — Dogs 40+ kg

When in doubt, size up. Dogs appreciate extra room for stretching.


Q: How many colors are available?

A: We offer 18 colors across most products, including neutrals, warm tones, and cool tones. Check individual product pages for available colors.


Q: Are your beds machine washable?

A: Most outer covers are machine washable in cold water on gentle cycle. Inner components should be spot-cleaned only. Always follow the care label on your specific product.


Q: What are your beds filled with?

A: Depends on product type:

  • Bolster/Pillow/Fur beds: Premium polyester fiber fill
  • Orthopedic beds: Multi-layer foam
  • Waterproof/Chew-resistant beds: Protected cushioning core

All materials are hypoallergenic and designed for durability.


Q: Do you sell replacement covers?

A: Yes, replacement covers are available for some products. Contact support@prazuchi.com with your order number to check availability.


Sizing & Selection

Q: How do I choose the right size?

A:

  1. Measure your dog from nose to base of tail while lying down
  2. Add 6-12 inches for stretching room
  3. Consider sleeping style (curled vs. stretched)
  4. When between sizes, always size up

Still unsure? Contact us with your dog's measurements and we'll recommend the perfect size.


Q: My dog is between sizes. Should I size up or down?

A: Always size up. Dogs need room to stretch, and beds that are too small are uncomfortable. The only exception is if your dog strongly prefers confined spaces, which is rare.


Q: Which bed is best for my senior dog?

A: Our Orthopedic Bed is ideal for senior dogs:

  • Multi-layer foam provides joint support
  • Relieves pressure on hips and elbows
  • Helps with arthritis and mobility issues

If your senior dog also has incontinence, consider our Orthopedic Waterproof Bed.


Q: My dog chews everything. Which bed should I buy?

A: Important - please read carefully:

Our Chew-Resistant Bed is designed for dogs with mild to moderate chewing tendencies, NOT aggressive power chewers.

Good candidates:

  • Dogs who occasionally mouth beds
  • Mild chewers being trained
  • Dogs who damage standard beds over time

NOT suitable for:

  • Aggressive chewers who destroy "indestructible" toys
  • Dogs with severe separation anxiety
  • Power chewers with destructive behavior

Be honest about your dog's behavior. If they routinely destroy heavy-duty products, contact us before purchasing. We'd rather help you find a realistic solution than have you waste money.


Q: My puppy has accidents. Which bed should I get?

A: Our Waterproof Bed is perfect:

  • Premium waterproof core prevents penetration
  • Wipes clean in minutes
  • Removable, washable cover
  • Protects floors underneath

Sizing tip: Size for their adult size, not current puppy size. They grow fast!


Q: My dog likes to burrow. What do you recommend?

A: Our Fur Collection is perfect for burrowers:

Q: Where do you ship?

A: We ship across India to all serviceable pin codes from prazuchi.com. Some international shipping available.

Shipping from other retailers varies by platform.


Q: How long does delivery take?

A: From prazuchi.com:

  • Processing: 1-2 business days, 7 days for custom orders
  • Delivery: 2-10 days depending on location
    • Fastest: Delhi, Mumbai (2-3 days)
    • Most cities: 3-5 days
    • Remote areas: 7-10 days

Total: 3-12 business days from order to delivery

Other retailers have their own delivery times.


Q: Which courier do you use?

A: We primarily use Blue Dart Express. For areas Blue Dart doesn't service, we use India Post or other reliable couriers.


Q: How do I track my order?

A: For orders from prazuchi.com:

  • Check shipping confirmation email for tracking link, use the link provided for tracking
  • Alternatively, visit courier website www.bluedart.com with tracking number

For orders from other platforms: Use that platform's tracking system.


Returns & Exchanges

Q: Can I return a product if I don't like it?

A: For products purchased from prazuchi.com:

Yes, within 30 days if:

  • Completely unused with no pet contact
  • All tags attached
  • Original packaging intact
  • No pet hair, odors, or signs of use

Important: You cannot let your dog try the bed and then return it. Products with any pet contact cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

For products purchased from other retailers: Follow that retailer's return policy.


Q: Who pays return shipping?

A: For prazuchi.com orders:

  • Your choice/wrong size: You pay return shipping
  • Defect or our error: We provide prepaid label

Other retailers have their own policies.


Q: How do I initiate a return?

A: For prazuchi.com purchases:

  1. Email support@prazuchi.com within 30 days
  2. Subject: "Return Request - Order #[Number]
  3. Include photos of product, tags, and packaging
  4. Await Return Authorization Number
  5. Ship with authorization

For other retailers: Contact that retailer directly.

Warranty & Care

Q: What warranty do you offer?

A: For products purchased from prazuchi.com:

  • Standard Warranty: 1 year on manufacturing defects
  • Chew-Resistant Warranty: 90-day enhanced coverage on inner shell (one-time replacement)

Covers: Manufacturing defects, seam failures, zipper defects, material flaws
Does NOT cover: Pet damage, normal wear, improper care

Products from other retailers: Warranty terms may differ. Contact us to verify coverage.


Q: Can I wash my bed in the washing machine?

A: Outer covers: Yes, cold water, gentle cycle
Inner components: Spot clean only - never machine wash foam or inner shells

Q: How often should I wash the bed?

A:

  • Light use: Every 2-4 weeks
  • Heavy use: Weekly
  • After accidents: Immediately

Q: My bed has compressed. Is this normal?

A: Yes, fiber-filled beds compress up to 30% in the first year - this is completely normal and expected.

To minimize: Fluff weekly, rotate regularly, follow care instructions.

If exceeds 30%: Contact us for warranty assessment.


Chew-Resistant Products

Q: What does "chew-resistant" mean?

A: Chew-resistant means engineered to withstand mild to moderate chewing significantly better than standard beds. It does NOT mean "chewproof" or indestructible.


Q: Will it survive my dog?

A: Honest answer: Depends entirely on your dog.

Works well for: Occasional mouthers, mild chewers, dogs being trained
Won't work for: Aggressive chewers, destructive dogs, power chewers

If your dog destroys heavy-duty toys regularly, contact us first.


Q: Which part is actually chew-resistant?

A: ONLY the inner mattress shell.

Your bed has three layers:

  1. Outer cover (NOT chew-resistant)
  2. Inner shell (IS chew-resistant - covered 90 days)
  3. Internal filling (NOT covered)

If your dog chews the outer cover, this is expected and NOT covered. Remove it and use the bed with just the inner shell.


Q: What's covered under chew warranty?

A: Only clear tears through the inner shell within 90 days.

Requirements:

  • Complete penetration (can see through tear)
  • Inner shell damage (not outer cover)
  • Within 90 days of delivery
  • Mild/moderate chewing (not aggressive destruction)
  • First and only claim

Remedy: One replacement inner shell (empty - no filling or cover)

Warranty applies only to prazuchi.com purchases.


Q: Can I get a second replacement?

A: No. One-time replacement only. If a dog destroys two shells, fabric beds aren't suitable - they need non-fabric alternatives like elevated cots or platform beds.


Waterproof Products

Q: How waterproof are they?

A: Our waterproof beds feature a premium waterproof core that provides complete moisture barrier protection.

Designed for: Puppy accidents, senior incontinence, spilled water, post-bath dampness
Limitations: Not for prolonged submersion, effectiveness depends on proper care


Q: Can I wash the waterproof layer?

A: No. Spot clean only with damp cloth. The outer cover is removable and machine washable.


Q: What if it leaks?

A: Check for tears, punctures, or damage. If no damage and within 1-year warranty, contact us for assessment.
