At Prazuchi, we engineer our chew-resistant beds with premium materials designed for exceptional durability. However, we believe in complete honesty: no fabric bed is truly "chewproof." Individual dogs vary enormously in chewing strength, determination, and behavior. What one dog cannot damage, another may destroy in minutes.

This warranty provides genuine protection if our engineered chew-resistant layer fails under reasonable use, while acknowledging the physical limits of fabric-based products.

1. Understanding Your Chew-Resistant Bed Construction

Your Prazuchi chew-resistant bed consists of three distinct components. Understanding this structure is essential to understanding your warranty coverage.

Component 1: Outer Removable Cover

Material: Upholstery-grade fabric
Purpose: Comfort, aesthetics, and easy washing
Chew Warranty Coverage: NOT COVERED for chewing damage
Standard Warranty: 1 year for manufacturing defects only

Why it's not covered for chewing:
The outer cover is designed as a removable, washable comfort layer - not a chew-resistant barrier. It serves as the "first line of defense" but is meant to be removed if damaged.

Component 2: Inner Chew-Resistant Mattress Shell

Material: Waterproof rip-stop nylon
Purpose: Tear resistance, waterproof protection, and chew resistance
Chew Warranty Coverage: 90 DAYS enhanced chew warranty
Standard Warranty: 1 year for manufacturing defects

This is the engineered protective layer - the actual chew-resistant component of the bed.

3. The 90-Day Chew-Resistant Warranty: Specific Terms

The outer cover is designed to be sacrificial. Remove it if damaged and use the bed with just the protected inner mattress.

This is your first chew warranty claim
No prior chew warranty claims on your customer account
One-time replacement limit applies per account, not per bed

3.3 What Is Explicitly NOT Covered

The following are absolutely excluded from chew warranty coverage:

Any and all damage to the outer cover is NOT covered for chewing.

This includes:

Zipper damage from chewing
Piping or binding damage

✗ Surface Damage Without Penetration

Minor damage that doesn't go completely through the inner shell is NOT covered:

Why this isn't covered:
Surface damage without penetration indicates the rip-stop nylon is working correctly - it's resisting complete failure. The warranty covers structural failure (clear tears through the material), not the surface wear from successful resistance.

✗ Internal Filling (Cotton Pillow and Polyester Fiber)

We do NOT replace filling under any circumstances.

Why we may deny these claims:
Extensive destruction indicates the dog's chewing force and determination exceed any fabric product's capability. No fabric bed (including ours) can withstand such aggressive, persistent chewing. These dogs require non-fabric alternatives like elevated cots, plastic platforms, or heavy-duty crate mats.

✗ Damage After 90-Day Window

After 90 days from delivery, chewing damage is NOT covered - period.

No extensions or exceptions
Manufacturing defects remain covered for full year
Chewing damage coverage ends at exactly 90 days

Why 90 days?
By 90 days, you know definitively whether the bed suits your dog's behavior. If the inner shell survives 90 days, it has proven appropriate for your dog's chewing level.

✗ Second or Subsequent Claims

This is a ONE-TIME replacement warranty.

Only one chew warranty claim per customer account (lifetime)
If the replacement inner shell is also damaged, no second replacement

If a dog destroys two chew-resistant inner shells, it definitively demonstrates the product cannot accommodate that dog's behavior. Such dogs require heavy-duty non-fabric alternatives.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.4 Assumption of Risk

Continuing to provide access to damaged beds
Any health, safety, or property consequences

You are responsible for determining product suitability
You will supervise initial use
You will remove damaged products that pose safety risks
You will not hold Prazuchi liable for pet-related incidents

4.5 Jurisdictional Variations

Some jurisdictions limit liability waivers. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in your jurisdiction.

5. How to File a Chew Warranty Claim

Strict requirements must be met. Incomplete claims will be denied.
